The International College of Dentists is a leading honorary dental organization dedicated to the recognition of outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service, and the continued progress of the profession of dentistry for the benefit of all humankind.

The Middle East Section was awarded autonomy by the College’s Executive Council in May 1967. Initially, it comprised: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Aden and Yemen. In 1978, the Section was restructured and is now formed of two Districts:

District 1:

Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq.

District 2:
|
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Yemen

Section Project
|
Oral Longevity: Translation to Arabic and dubbing of the pamphlet and DVD produced by the American Dental Association and GlaxoSmithKline, for distribution in the Arab world as a public service project.
